PARENTS

We in St. John of God School view parent(s)/guardian(s) as partners in education. We acknowledge the two most formative influences in a child’s development are the family and the school and that values and attributes are most strongly formed in the home than at school.

Parent(s) guardian(s) are always welcome to visit the school. However, it may be difficult for staff to talk to parents who arrive unexpectedly. Therefore all visitors to the school are advised to write/phone to make an appointment. Staff are engaged in supervision duties from 12 to 1pm daily and are not available for meetings during these times. All visitors to the school must report to the school principal/secretary office before going to any other area of the school.
